Yet another Sam (and Saffron) update:
One of Sam's favorite places to hang is the first step that's visible downstairs. Here he is engaged in his typical observation of the goings on.
There's an uneasy truce between Saffron and Sam. Still some hissing, and Sam's getting a bit bold, but no incidents...yet.
After Sam attempts an attack on the senior cat, he retreats to the bedroom.
We're going to head up to our camp soon. Just an overnight with Cairo, and the cats are staying home (separated, of course). On the agenda: trying to fix the ailing weather station, running around outside with the dog, and coming in from the cold to a nice roaring fire. And much to my wife's dismay, a little blogging.
