Some pics from last weekend before I left for Albany, and today.
The moon from the meadow behind our house last Friday. Alas, couldn't quite capture the visible craters well. And I really should have motivated last night to take a picture of the moon as it was rising: red enough to rival Mars to its right. Unfortunately I was so tired my wits apparently abandoned me.
Cairo looking kind of leonine in the meadow moments after the moon shot.
Sunset from the meadow the same night.
The sun's really far south now, but last Saturday was warm and bright and the evening brought some interesting (I thought) contrasts and shadows.
The same pine today from a different perspective.
