Stef, Cairo and I piled into the Subaru for a little mid-morning hooky. Mommy had to stop to get a scone at the Foothills Bakery, while daddy and dog waited in the car.

[Update: an interesting problem posed by the new camera is that I can get such high res, large pics, that scaling down really doesn't look good on the web. Case in point, a picture of the Fletcher Union Meeting House, which I shot today on our mini-adventure--couldn't reduce the size/reso without major artifacts cropping up. Click on the thumbnail to see a larger version (shrunken, but passable):
So now I need to play with settings on the cam to take lower quality pics if I want to post online. Nice thing about the D70 is that I can pretty quickly change the size and res of the shots on the fly, so I can probably do both more or less at the same time...]
